Zygmunt Solorz-Żak
President of the Board, delegated by the Supervisory Board of Polkomtel Sp. z o.o. to temporarily perform the duties of the President of the Management Board of Polkomtel Sp. z o.o.

Zygmunt Solorz-Żak is one of the leading private entrepreneurs in Poland. Having spent a few years abroad, at the end of the 1980s he set up a Foreign Enterprise, SOLPOL in Poland. At the beginning of the 1990s he took interest in the media sector, investing in "Kurier Polski". In 1993 Zygmunt Solorz-Żak launched the first private television in Poland - Polska Telewizja Satelitarna Polsat S.A. (currently: Telewizja Polsat sp. z o.o.).

Zygmunt Solorz-Żak has been serving as President of the Supervisory Board of Telewizja Polsat since its incorporation. He is also the founder and the main shareholder of Cyfrowy Polsat S.A., the biggest pay TV satellite platform in Poland and the fourth biggest platform in Europe in terms of the number of subscribers. He has been a Member (since July 2008) and then the President (since April 2009) of the Supervisory Board of Cyfrowy Polsat.

Within the investment interest of Mr. Solorz-Żak there are not only media but his portfolio also includes companies from such industries as telecommunications, electrical power engineering, banking and insurance, real estate and sports.

Zygmunt Solorz-Żak has long-term experience of working in statutory bodies of commercial companies, among others serving as:

• President of the Supervisory Board of Invest-Bank S.A. (since 2002)
• President of the Supervisory Board of Elektrim S.A. (since 2003)
• President of the Supervisory Board of  ZE PAK S.A. (since 2010)
• President of the Supervisory Board of NFI Midas S.A. (since 2010).

Since November 2011, Zygmunt Solorz-Żak has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Polkomtel Sp. z o.o.

Tobias Solorz
Board Member

Tobias Solorz graduated from the Faculty of Management and Marketing at the University of Warsaw.

Professional Career:

He began his professional career in 2003 as an assistant of the Management Board of Telewizja Polsat S.A. (currently Telewizja Polsat sp. z o.o.). He has acquired his professional experience, among others, in the telecommunication, financial and controlling sectors.

2007 - 2008 - Promotion Manager in Cyfrowy Polsat S.A.

2008 - 2010 - Member of the Management Board of Sferia S.A.

Until March 2011 - Marketing, Advertisement, Sales and Operations Director of Sferia S.A.

Wojciech Pytel
Board Member

Graduate of Technical University of Gdansk, Faculty of Electronic Engineering (M.Sc.). He also studied at the Faculty of Mathematics of University of Gdański while in the years 1997-2002 he attended various courses, including a program at IMD in Switzerland.

Professional career:

1986-1990 -  R&D Specialist at the Technical University of Gdańsk. During the next three years he held various managerial positions in several companies involved in distribution of telecommunication equipment.

1993-1994 - CEO of Prywatne Sieci Telekomunikacyjne S.A. (Private Telecommunication Networks S.A.), a subsidiary of Telekomunikacja Polska S.A.

2001-2002 - Member of the Management Board,  COO of Polkomtel Sp. z o.o.

1994 - 2001 and 2002 - 2004 - Nokia: Country Manager for Poland, Area General Manager (Poland, Ukraine, Byelorussia), Customer Operation General Director (Poland, Ukraine, Byelorussia), Business Development Director Europe, and finally Orange Global Strategy Director. He was responsible for business contacts with mobile operators in the region covering Poland, Czech Republic, France, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands and Israel.

Until October 2008 - Managing Partner for IBM Business Consulting

2008-2010 - Advisor to the CEO and Managing Director at Polkomtel Sp. z o.o.

In September 2010 he became the President of NFI Midas S.A.

Since October 26, 2011 - Member of the Management Board of Polkomtel Sp. z o.o.

Wojciech Pytel's interests include photography, new technologies in daily life, horses and sailing.
