Polkomtel S.A. is a pioneer in launching innovative GSM services to the Polish market. We were the first company to offer to our customers MMS's, the possibility of listening to SMS's as well as data transmission relying on GPRS and EDGE technologies.

In September 2004 Plus was the first operator in Poland to launch 3G mobile services, including UMTS.
